Our Programs

Sing for Hope offers three modes of arts activist programming:

Art U! Youth Outreach
Sing for Hope’s Art U! Youth Outreach Program introduces students to the performing arts and to the concept of arts activism, or art as a means to better our world. Classes with resident teaching artists are complemented by visits with renowned guest artists in an exploration of the ways in which young people can use art as a tool for renewal and uplift in their own communities.

Healing Arts Hospital Outreach
Sing for Hope’s Healing Arts Hospital Outreach Program brings live performance and workshops to patients in healthcare facilities, with special focus on elder care facilities, rehabilitative centers and palliative care facilities. Sing for Hope artists offer solo, ensemble and collaborative performances and workshops in patients’ rooms and in group recreation areas, tailoring performances to patients’ and care-givers’ needs.
