New York, NY – Sing for Hope is excited to announce an expansion of its partnership with Westfield World Trade Center, bringing the vibrant energy of live music to the iconic Oculus. Building on the success of "Oculus Unplugged" Mondays and Thursdays, Sing for Hope will now present "Live Music Wednesdays", a series of free, high-caliber performances for the public.
For years, Sing for Hope has collaborated with Westfield World Trade Center to fill the Oculus with music, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the captivating "Evolve" Sing for Hope Piano, a work of art by Artist Partner Lance Johnson. Now, "Live Music Wednesdays" will amplify this experience, showcasing some of Sing for Hope's most talented musicians.
Starting in March and continuing every third Wednesday through September, visitors to the Oculus can immerse themselves in diverse musical genres, ranging from classical pops to jazz and beyond. These free performances offer a unique opportunity to experience world-class music in a stunning architectural setting.
"We are thrilled to deepen our collaboration with Westfield World Trade Center and bring the joy of live performance to the heart of the city," says Lis Chirinos, Sing for Hope Director of Arts in Public Health. "Music has the power to uplift, connect, and transform, and we're excited to offer these concerts as a gift to the community."
"Live Music Wednesdays" invites everyone to experience the transformative power of music in a public space. For the full schedule of performances and more information, please visit this page .
