    Danielle Chery

Danielle M Chery is a Brooklyn-based artist, educator, and founder of DMC Original Art, a home décor business specializing in one-of-a-kind functional art inspired by the calming flow of nature. Through her work, Danielle merges creativity, wellness, and community, crafting pieces that bring peace and vibrancy into homes, schools, and shared spaces. She incorporates her signature fluid art technique and breathwork practice as a form of moving meditation, transforming everyday objects into functional works that radiate balance, mindfulness, and joy. A Sing for Hope Artist Partner since 2020, Danielle has created public artworks that uplift and connect communities. Her piano Underwater Tune, painted in the early days of the pandemic, was displayed at Hudson Yards before finding a permanent home at Business Technology Early College High School in Queens. She has also guided seniors in Harlem and Brownsville community centers in painting pianos, turning art-making into a joyful, intergenerational experience. Across her practice, whether through DMC Original Art’s colorful trays, coasters, and wall pieces, or through community-based collaborations, Danielle strives to inspire peace, creativity, and togetherness through the universal language of art.
