Sing for Hope celebrated Women's Herstory Month with a Citizen Artist Assembly for the young women of Brooklyn Emerging Leaders Academy (BELA) Charter High School, celebrating the arrival of the SFH Piano by the cast of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and the launch of our new arts partnership. The Sing for Hope team and Shirley Maisel herself (actress Caroline Aaron) talked to students about Citizen Artistry, careers in the arts, and the importance of portraying strong young women in the media.
The assembly also featured performances by BELA students and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel's Chase Rosenberg.
