Before the 2013 fall school year, Sing for Hope was proud to hold the very first Summer Arts Intensive, a one week workshop that featured classes in acting, dancing, singing, writing music, even DJ’ing! The intensive included 34 participants, ages 13-18, and was hosted downstairs from the Sing for Hope administrative offices at DANY studios. The week long intensive culminated in an evening performance open to parents and guests that featured the choreography, music, and acting scenes the students have been working on. What better way to kick off the school year than with a little dancing, acting and Sing(ing) for Hope!
