The piano began from concept to design in pandemic, in the fall of 2020. Spacing the planning between intermittent periods of lockdown, families arrived with their masks to paint marigolds and over 20 students helped paint the marigolds. The design started as an idea to highlight the Mexican art and feel of the cafe space. While attending Orange Coast Community College I began my studies in ceramics in 2013, sculpting and throwing clay became a new passion. Receiving a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a concentration in Ceramics from California State University Fullerton in 2019, also a Certificate in Ceramics from Orange Coast College in 2016, college education has become an essential part of my life. While having a focus in ceramics, I also had the chance to study a variety of mediums including glass, wood, metal, plastics, and adhesives, this knowledge greatly expanded the possibilities of what could be created.
