Artist Statement: Music is everywhere in NYC: it floats from windows, booms from car stereos. We hear it in stores, on the subway, walking through a parade or street fair. I wanted to capture the atmospheric quality of music as well as the excitement and sparkle of the city by using Swarovski crystals, mirrored tiles, and up cycled CDs.
