It's a mix of Oz and Wonderland that's seemingly familiar to life as we know it. You can't quite put your finger on what makes it so different from your day-to-day. Maybe that's because we're all more alike than we think.\n\nYou should look at this piano and have some questions (because I have several). How long have the boy and girl under the tree been talking? Does that stag feel a little out of place and maybe too big or too small? Where's the witch headed? Maybe she's friends with the cat. Wait, is the cat really a cat? He could be an old friend. What's the deal with the boys on the sides? I wonder if they know each other.\n\nI'll leave the interpretation of the scene up to you. It should have a unique meaning to your stage of life, and hopefully it'll mean something new to you in a few years, and a few years after that, and a few years after that. The chameleon has a little of all kinds of animal camo patterns on its body. Much like our area, there’s a little of each branch of service. The music and art will be in perfect harmony. I have studied art at Virginia Commonwealth University, The Art Institute of Atlanta (Associate’s in Visual Communications, 1994), and Christopher Newport University (Bachelor’s in Fine Art, 2001). I’ve been employed at NNPS for 28 years. The best part is that I teach at the school I attended in grades 3-5. \nI have loved art all my life. The children in my family get my special art experiences during summer break. We have visited all kinds of art museums, been mermaid hunting and mural hunting in Norfolk (NEON District), and done all kinds of arts and crafts in my kitchen and back yard. I have hosted paint parties for friends and taught at summer art camps in Suffolk and Newport News. I share my passion for art with anyone who wants to join me.
