Artist Statement: This Sing for Hope Piano, Bienvenido a Arnedo, is a celebration of place, culture, and belonging — painted together with Ukrainian refugee children as a symbol of welcome and shared creativity. Inspired by the vibrant traditions of Arnedo, the design honors the town’s identity through its motifs: shoes, grapes, mushrooms, olive oil, and the proud bull — all rendered in a joyful, cartoon-like Momoshi style. The children’s colorful patterns and handprints fill the piano with life, transforming local icons into universal symbols of hope. Their spontaneous strokes echo laughter, discovery, and connection across cultures. This Sing for Hope Piano invites everyone to play and to listen — not just to music, but to the harmony born when art brings people together, celebrating both roots and new beginnings.
