Artist Statement: This Sing for Hope Piano, Pamplona Bienvenido, is a celebration of unity, color, and resilience, created together with Ukrainian refugee children. Its design bridges two worlds: a Ukrainian flag that flows into the Spanish one, symbolizing hope finding a new home. Two playful bulls wave peace flags above the city’s name — a joyful tribute to Pamplona’s spirit of welcome and courage. The children filled the lower panels with vibrant handprints and spontaneous bursts of paint, transforming their emotions into color. Every mark reflects laughter, curiosity, and the freedom of expression. This Sing for Hope Piano invites everyone to play, connect, and imagine a future shaped by empathy. In its melodies and colors, we find what unites us: the shared rhythm of peace, belonging, and joy.
