Artist Statement: This Sing for Hope Piano, Chopin’s Warsaw, honors the enduring beauty and resilience of a city that once rose from ashes. Painted together with Ukrainian refugee children, it celebrates both memory and rebirth — the harmony between past and present. At its center stands Chopin, a symbol of Polish soul and musical genius, surrounded by the colorful old-town houses that once defined Warsaw’s skyline before war and destruction. The children’s handprints and vivid patterns bring life back to these streets, turning remembrance into renewal. Through this design, music and art intertwine — connecting Chopin’s timeless melodies with the laughter and hope of a new generation. This Sing for Hope Piano invites all who see or play it to feel the rhythm of resilience, beauty, and peace reborn.
