Artist Statement: Education is among the most important things for our shared human development. Our schools are crucial in sharing of knowledge and learning to socializing. It’s where we learn to work and play together. I love making comparisons between the ocean beings and us land dwellers. The way we move around the city streets or the coral reefs it all seems very similar, familiar. We all are each other‘s teachers and students, and we can learn from anyone. We all have something to give to this human experience. This piano is a tribute, a thank you to all our “schools” whatever shape they take.
