Artist Statement: I have always tried to use my art to connect and bring community together. Weather it be donating my paintings for auction to causes I believe in , running coloring events for after school programs and nursing homes or pro bono design jobs. For me Sing For Hope's mission of Art for All alines with core beliefs as an artist and human.
Nick Stavrides is a NYC artist, born and raised in Washington Heights. A self-trained painter, Stavrides draws inspiration from the art of different tribes, cultures and the city itself. His passion for the well being of our oceans has been the driving force in his resent body of work. Mr. Stavrides resides in New York City/Hell's Kitchen with his wife, two cats and Ringo the Wonder Dog
