Artist Statement: There's nothing better than dancing, and this is a piano celebrating that. Inspired by everyone from Bob Fosse to Napoleon Dynamite, Ann Miller to FKA twigs, Desmond Richardson to Naomi Smalls, Gene Kelly to Beyoncé, Gregory Hines to my husband, and many many more.
Chelsea Marotta is an artist. She grew up on Long Island, left New York briefly to attend to The College of William and Mary, and rushed right back to Manhattan where she has worked in television for the past five years. Art is important and she's glad to spend her time painting whenever she can.
