Artist Statement: For this design, I was inspired heavily by my love and strong connection to nature, as well as the parallels that can be seen between human life and nature. More specifically I chose to focus on dreadlocks, and how to me they've always represented a journey of growth. In addition, I chose to incorporate several vines and flowers to show how both dreadlocks and vines (which also coincidently have similar shapes) are symbols of growth.
