Colette is a mixed media artist & middle school art educator from New Jersey. Colette has been teaching middle school art on Long Island, NY for the past 26 years. Sharing her passion for the visual arts with her students & allowing them to express themselves visually has inspired her to grow as a visual artist as much as she strives to inspire them. Art is part of her daily life whether creating in her studio or creating with her students in her classroom. Fine art, mixed media, & digital art are some of the areas of the visual arts she is most passionate exploring as a visual artist & as an art educator. There are many ways to express oneself through the arts, & it is so important to be exposed to the arts- creativity, imagination, & self expression allows us to communicate globally through the arts. This is Colette’s first painted piano with SFH, & it has been a wonderful project to be a part of & a wonderful community of artists to work with creating “Art for All” to enjoy!
