Artist Statement: I wanted to share in symbols, text, and images what Sing for Hope means to me.
Patrick Freeman is a freelance artist based out of NYC. Drawing was a passion since childhood, which only naturally lead him to a career path in the creative arts. After attending The Savannah College of Art and Design, he set out working for himself as a freelance illustrator and designer. His main inspiration comes from a mix of Art Nouveau and contemporary fashion illustration. His medium is a mix of ink, acrylic, and digital. With a style that is vibrant, whimsical and full of clean graphic lines, he focused on developing clients in the lifestyle, fashion, and entertainment industries. He soon began working with a major entertainment licensing company, creating illustrations for merchandise, tour apparel, and select advertising for musical artists, including Britney Spears and Madonna. Over the years some of his clients include PUMA, Elle Magazine, Condé Nast, Neiman Marcus, Prada, and Theater Breaking Through Barriers.
