Artist Statement: My design is a simple combination of music and nature that bring about feelings of serenity and peace.
Loren San Diego was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States at the age of 12. She graduated with a dual Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA from Rutgers University. In the past, she has worked for various financial firms in New York City. But in 2014, Loren decided to leave the corporate world to raise a family. She also started a home-based job of teaching piano to little kids in her home studio, which she calls Piano Playground. At the same time, she is taking private advanced piano lessons at the New York Conservatory of Music. She hopes to continue teach and perform piano for the rest of her life. Besides being a piano teacher, Loren is also a very successful portrait photographer, specializing in family and children portraits. She travels all over NY, NJ and CT for various photography projects.
