Artist Statement: My design incorporates systems of sacred geometries to present a design, inspired by Moroccan tile mosaics, meant to evoke the radiance of the sun. The design is translated in such a way as to cover the entire piano, sometimes repeating. It has been produced with a combination of stencils, tape, and geometric measurements. It is a design I have created in a few iterations of various sizes in the past. Like all works of sacred geometry, it is a meditation on connection, order, and universal spiritualism. It is meant to transcend cultures and religions and appeal to humanity as a whole.
