Artist Statement: This piano is inspired by the mission of Sing for Hope: to provide all individuals with access to the arts. Lady Liberty, whose face and torch are featured throughout the piano, welcomes all visitors yearning to play with the message of "ART FOR ALL." In tumultuous times, art is a powerful way to “lift [our] lamp beside the golden door” and to use our creativity to unite and spread love throughout our community.
Jennifer Kakaletris Boyar is a graphic designer based in Florham Park, New Jersey. Jennifer believes in the power of design to influence others and has dedicated her studio, Jennifer Kakaletris Design, to finding creative solutions for messages worth spreading. She partners with local, national, and international nonprofit organizations on the frontlines of social change.
